Suposo que tots coneixeu la història de Pompeia. El grup britànic Bastille va treure el 24 de febrer de 2013 la seva cançó sobre aquesta tràgica història. Va ser la seva cançó més famosa, arribant a ocupar la segona posició en el Top 5 del Regne Unit i la primera a Irlanda.

“Livin ‘la vida loca“ aquesta cançó és del cantant porto-riqueny Ricky Martin inclòs en el seu àlbum anglès titulat Ricky Martin. La cançó va ser composta per Desmond Child  i Robi Draco Rosa, i va arribar als primers llocs del rànquing durant 1999. La cançó va guanyar diverses nominacions als premis Grammy i va ajudar a Ricky Martin a guanyar enorme èxit dins dels Estats Units i el món.

Earth Song ( « Cançó de la Terra » ) és una cançó escrita per l’artista Michael Jackson del seu àlbum HIStory, de 1995. Va vendre 3,5 Milions de còpies en tot el món. Va ser número u en les llistes del Regne Unit durant sis setmanes.

“Fuiste tú” és una cançó de pop llatí interpretada pel cantant guatemalenc Ricardo Arjona en col·laboració amb el seu compatriota Gaby Moreno, publicada el 7 de febrer de 2012 com el segon senzill del seu tretzè àlbum d’estudi Independent (2011). Arjona la va compondre i la va produir amb els seus antics col·laboradors Dan Warner i Lee Levin sota els seus noms artístics Els Gringos.

Janus de Boyfriend

El grup sud coreà Boyfriend el novembre de 2012 va llençar el seu àlbum “JANUS”, la cançó principal del qual també anomenada “Janus” fa referència al déu Janus (vid. Referents del déu Janus), un déu de dues cares. En el vídeo es pot observar que els dos germans bessons del grup representen cada un la cara bona i la cara dolenta del déu.

En la lletra de la cançó hi trobem dos tòpics clàssics: furor amoris (‘vaig estar a les fosques/caient amb força/amb un cor obert’) i l’altre és carpe diem, no explícit en la lletra, però es veu clarament perquè diu que obre els ulls després d’una espiral d’amargura i torna a viure la vida, sense perdre el temps.

En el vídeo es veu com la cantant, vestida amb un peple, va entrant a un laberint com el de Minotaure. Més tard, es troba amb dos Minotaures mentre recorre el passadís d’un hospital.

Què simbolitza la trobada amb els minotaures? T’havies fixat en els referents clàssics?

Coriolà, un grup de música de Premià de Mar

Caius Marcus Coriolanus, tot i que no es pot confirmar 100% la seva existència, es diu que va ser un general romà del segle V a.C. Va ser exiliat de Roma per haver prohibit repartir el blat als plebeus. Havent estat els  seus enemics es va unir a els volscs i va passar a conspirar en contra de Roma.

Coriolà s’acomiada de la seva familia i marxa a l’exil·li

A les portes de la ciutat de Roma va ser detingut per la seva dona, Vetúria,  i la seva mare, Volúmnia, que el van convèncer per retirar-se. Coriolà va cedir i, d’aquesta manera, els volscs el van titllar de traïdor.

Coriolà és un grup de música pop i folk de Premià de Mar. Guanyadors del Premi Joventut al concurs Sona 9. Els inicis d’aquest actual grup de música es remunten a l’any 2011. Carles Chacón s’acabava de quedar a l’atur i va haver de buscar la manera de reinserir-se al mercat laboral. Ell mateix diu que Coriolà va nèixer a partir d’una crisi personal. En aquest, cas, en Carles va reprendre la seva passió adormida per la música. En aquesta entrevista els veiem parlant del seu primer disc, “El debut” al lloc dels seus origens, Premià de Mar i al següent àudio podem escoltar-ne una altra del Premià Notícies:

Aquest 15 d’agost de 2014 van fer un concert al fòrum romà d’Empúries, tot i que aquests calamars a la romana no siguin massa romans!

Igual que Caius Marcus Coriola després de ser desterrat va provar coses noves, en el cas de Carles Chacón aquest va passar a dedicar-se a la música i en el cas de Coriolà va unir-se a l’enemic.
