El curtmetratge “The monster of Nix”, ha estat guardonat com a millor animació en l’edició 2011 del Filmets Badalona.La durada del curtmetratge té una durada de mitja hora.
“The monster of Nix” és un musical que té de protagonista un nen anomenat Willy.En Willy lluita contra el monstre d’un poble anomenat Nix. Aquesta pel·lícula compta amb les veus de Tom Waits que fa de Virgil, una oreneta gegant, i de Terry Gilliam, que posa la veu del vigilant del bosc.
Entre d’altres el curtmetratge ha obtingut els següents guardons:
Nominació per al “Golden Calf” en el Dutch Film Festival 2011.
Guanyador del “Best Animation Award” at the Filmets festival of Badalona, Spain.
Guanyador del “Public Prize Best Short Film” en els Utopiales Film Festival, France.
Official Dutch Entry in the Animated Short category for the “Academy Awards 2012”.

Netherlands : The Monster of Nix was theatrically released at Halloween 2011.
Belgium : It will be released in the cinemas on 21st of December 2011. It is shown together with ‘Peter and the Wolf’ [Animation Short Film Academy Award 2008]
France : It will have a release in the cinemas early 2012.
