One direction

One Direction és un grup format per 5  joves nascuts a Anglaterra i Irlanda entre 1991 i  1994: Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik i Niall Horan.

Aquest nois es van presentar de forma individual a les audicions per el programa “The X Factor” el 2010, aconseguint passant a la següent etapa, denominada “Bootcamp (Tallers)”, però no van aconseguir classificar-se individualment. Després, pel suggeriment dels dos membres del jurat, els cinc joves van formar una banda i es van classificar a la categoria de grups. Això els va fer molt populars.

Després de sortir del programa, One Direction va signar un contracte de grabació amb Syco.  A més, el grup va treure al mercat dos llibres per a fans. One Direction i nou concursants més de Factor X van participar en el”X Factor Live Tour”entre febrer i abril del 2011 visitant diferents ciutats al Regne Unit i Irlanda. Extramusicalment, la banda ha participat en diverses campanyes publicitàries com Pokémon i Nokia.

« Best Song Ever »-en català : «La millor cançó de sempre» – és una cançó interpretada per la boy band britànica – irlandesa One Direction , inclosa en el seu tercer àlbum d’estudi Midnight Memories , de 2013.

La van compondre Wayne Hector , John Ryan , Ed Drewett i Julian Bunetta , mentre que aquest últim també la va produir . Bunnetta assegurar que la idea principal era crear una cançó amb un ambient de festa però amb una lletra que es pugui cantar. 2

El 22 de juliol de 2013, Syco Music la va llançar com a vuitè senzill d’One Direction. 3

Comercialment, va aconseguir un dels deu primers llocs en les llistes setmanals de Austràlia , Canadà , Dinamarca , Espanya , Hongria , entre d’altres.

Cal recalcar que en els Estats Units es va convertir en el senzill millor posicionat del quintet després d’aconseguir la segona posició del Billboard Hot 100 . 8

Per promocionar-lo, One Direction publicar un videoclip el 22 de juliol 2013 a la seva compte de VEVO a YouTube. Es tracta d’un homenatge a la seva primera pel•lícula This is Us i una paròdia a certs personatges de Hollywood .

En les seves primeres quatre hores, va rebre un total de 12,3 milions de visites, pel que va trencar el rècord del vídeo més vist en aquest temps.

No obstant això, l’assoliment va ser arrabassat un parell de setmanes després per Miley Cyrus . D’altra banda, la van interpretar en els Teen Choice Awards . 14 més, en els MTV Video Music Awards de 2013 va guanyar el premi a la cançó de l’estiu.
