Com cada any, la promoció que està fent primer curs d’Ensenyament Secundari , celebra el seu bateig. Aquest acte consisteix en investir aquell grup de nois i noies d’un nom que els acompanyarà la resta de cursos que passaran a l’Escola i fins i tot la resta de la seva vida. Avui doncs aquest curs té el nom de Promoció Mahatma Ghandi, en homenatge a aquest gran personatge. El nom no respon a l’atzar. Per a escollir-lo entre molts, ha calgut realitzar una tria que apuntés cap a les característiques dels nois i noies que componen el grup humà que conviu dia a dia a classe. Avui, la celebració ha consistit en una conferència explicant els motius de la tria, en parlaments d’agraïment i reconeixement i amb les reflexions dels seus mestres i de la Direcció de l’Escola.
