La llibertat individual és el somni de la nostra era i és el que els nostres líders prometen donar-nos. Els Governs compromesos per la llibertat d’elecció han portat a un augment en la desigualtat i a un col·lapse dramàtic en la mobilitat social. I a l’estranger, a l’Iraq i l’Afganistan, l’intent per implantar la llibertat ha portat a un caos total de sang i a l’ascens d’un islamisme antidemocràtic i autoritari. Això, al seu torn, ha ajudat a inspirar atacs terroristes a la Gran Bretanya. En resposta, el Govern ha desmantellat lleis establertes des de fa molt temps i dissenyades per protegir la nostra llibertat.
