Let’s start working! This week we are going to practice the contents in UNIT 1 – IMAGES. First of all we are going to practice with the PAST SIMPLE AND THE PAST CONTINUOUS. Remember you have to know the list of irregular verbs you have in your workbook, in page 144. In the following links you will find exercises to practice them:

To practise the VOCABULARY of this unit, go to English Alive! 4 and practice with the three games you have there.

Now we are ready for some LISTENING. Listen to this song by Gloria Gaynor and go to I Will Survive – exercises. There you will find the lyrics of the song and four exercises, you have to do all of them and send the answers to cristina.itaca@gmail.com. Copy and paste them in a word document with your answers with “survive” in the subject of your message.

HOMEWORK UNIT 1

  • Do all the exercises from the PRACTICE-UNIT 1 from the “English Alive! MultiROM 4”. Then fill in the multirom-practice-chart with your scores and send it as an attached file to cristina.itaca@gmail.com. Write “unit 1” in the subject of your message.
  • Send a word document with the answers of I Will Survive – exercises to cristina.itaca@gmail.com. Write “survive” in the subject of your message.
  • If you haven’t finished all the exercises or if you think you can do them better, try to do them again. If you need more practice have a look at Agenda Web with lots of free exercises to practice your English!
