In 1992, the UN General Assembly designated 22 March of each year as the World Day for Water. The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro.

Hi children! Yesterday was “Shrove Tuesday” or “Pancake Day”. Shrove Tuesday is the last chance to indulge yourself, and to use up the foods that aren’t allowed during “Lent” (period of abstinence). Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbidden during Lent.
