Working on European Festivities

Hi kids! Class 6 has been working on European Festivities. We have learned new facts about:

Easter in the Netherlands

International Children Day in Turkey

Saint George’s Day in Catalonia – Spain

You can have a look at the pictures taken in class while they were working. You will soon see a great display in the English noticeboard.

Hi kids! Watch this video with Carla M. and Claudia talking about Jupiter. They did a great job!

Eggs experiment results

Helo kids! Today Class 3 had a look at the eggs in water, vinegar and coke after one week inside the jars.

The egg in water didn’t change at all.
The egg in vinegar didn’t have the shell. It was bigger and soft. The acids in the vinegar destroyed the calcium in the shell.
The egg in coke was darker because coke is black. The shell was rough.
This is why it is very important to brush your teeth twice every day and visit the dentist.

Have a look at the pictures.

Experimenting with eggs

Hi kids! Class 3 is studying the different types of teeth and how caries is caused. We made an experiment with eggs to understand tooth decay. Have a look at the pictures!
