This is a new English contest: who is who.

It will finish on thursday 17th december at midnight

These are the rules:

  1. Heu de fer totes les preguntes anglès.
  2. Han de ser preguntes que es puguin contestar amb un Yes or un No.
  3. Si la pregunta no està del tot ben escrita la meva resposta serà: “Wrong question. Try again” . “Pregunta equivocada. Torna-ho a provar”. Aleshores tindreu que provar de fer-la de nou corregint la pregunta.
  4. Pel simple fet de participar encara que no aconseguiu fer cap pregunta correcta ja tindreu un punt.
  5. Per cada pregunta correcta tindreu un punt més.
  6. Les persones que encertin la persona que jo penso, obtindran 5 punts.
  7. La primera en encertar-ho obtindrà 2 punts extres
  8. Només podeu fer una pregunta cada dia. Un cop feta una pregunta cal esperar la resposta per fer la següent.

  9. No es poden repetir preguntes ja fetes per vosaltres mateixos o altres companys i ja hagin estat contestades. Si és així no obtindreu cap punt per la vostra pregunta. Aleshores la resposta serà: “Repeated question. Next question please”

  10. Només teniu una oportunitat per encertar el personatge. Un cop ho proveu ja no podreu continuar fent preguntes.
  11. Si veig que resulta molt difícil aniré posant pistes que us puguin ajudar.
  12. Al final de curs hi haurà un premi per la persona que acumuli més punts en les diferents activitats d’anglès proposades en el bloc. Podeu veure els vostre punts acumulats en el English score

És important llegir les preguntes dels vostres companys i les meves respostes per tal de poder encertar el personatge amabat. Un cop algú encerti el personatge donaré tres dies per donar per acabat el concurs i donar la oportunitat que algú més ho encerti.Let’s start the game. Good luck for everybody. Who is who ?

El Grito.

-The name for artist:  Eduward Munich (in Norwegian).

-Nationality: (Olso) Norwegian. He lived in Oslo

-(In the Galery National Olso is de) The painter ”El Grito” is in the Oslo National Gallery.

In recent years, the work in two different versions, has been the subject of two separate thefts of high media impact. The most common, the National Gallery was stolen in February 1994 and was recovered in a police action eight weeks later. In August 2004 the theft of another version of the picture, one of those outlined in the Munch Museum. Two years later, on 31 August 2006 the Norwegian police announced the recovery of the painting in good condition...

This is a painting by Diego Velázquez. It is 353 years old. Diego Velázquez was a Spanish artist.

In this painting there (is a) are people, a dog, a window and a door. When he was young, he lived in New York (impossible!).

Velázquez used dark colours. Diego Velázquez born in 1599 and died in 1660.  Velázquez painted two paintings

very famous: las meninas and las hilanderas.

Las Meninas is a 1656 painting by Diego Velázquez.
It is in the Museo “el Prado” in Madrid.

(The work’s complex and enigmatic composition raises questions about reality and illusion).

(Diego Velázquez) The colours are black, white and (braunw) brown.

Diego Velázquez was born in Sevilla( june of 1599) and he died in Madrid (sixth august of 1660).
The painting was profesional and (the paintings was) it  very nice. (?)

This is a painting by Joan Miró. (It is to) He died with 90 years old (Joan Miró ,and paiting 91 years old.)

When he was young, he lived in Barcelona (to) and he died in Palma de Mallorca.

In the painting (objects:a) there are animals, flowers and mountains

Joan Miro used blue, red, brown, orange, black, green, yellow and (with) white.

The name of artist is Evard Munch. He was from Norway.

(This nationaliti) He lived near Oslo.

In the painting there is (a before) a man screaming. (this paiting the colors is:) There is a brown fence and (the) a blue river.The background is orange, yellow and red.

The artist used oil painting (oli) tempera and pastel on cardboard.

Curiosity: He (paind) painted the grito in 2893 (impossible!), with 30 years because (and was) he died in 1944.

(Experted great influence in Alemania).

Van Gogh painted the picture. He(r) painted 900 paintings. (There are) He has got one small brother: Teo van Goghg.

It was necessary waited for his death (to post) to be famous for his pictures. He was a great painter in Germany (Will be a greate painter to Alemanya) .

(Ded of a shot) He shot himself in the chest at 1890 on 27th of July and he died

In the picture there are houses, (the) one church and (the) behind the picture there (are) is as (the) a mist. The colours are blue and yellow.

This is a painting by Edvard Munch. It is 116 years old.

When he was young, he lived in “Norway”. The painting (have) has got differents colours: orange, blue…. In the painting there is a fence, there is a river, a bridge. In a bridge there are two people (persons). And this is the painting:
