The brothers Montgolfier

The brothers Montgolfier ( Jacques-Étienne and Joseph-Michel)

Joseph-Michel was born in France ( Annonay ) in 1740 and  he died in 1810.

Jacques-Étienne was born in France ( Serrières ) in 1745 and he died in 1799.

They were playing with a bag and casually  they discovered that hot air weighs less than cool air. After that,  they proved with larger bags and with silk bag.

The 14th of december in 1782, the brothers Montgolfier achieved launch a big silk bag rising until 250 mt. Also, they proved  with animals inside of  basket in the balloon.

The 21th of november in 1783 Pilâtre de Rozier and Marquis d’Arlandes did the first fly inside the balloon about of 100 mt over Paris during 25 minuts.

The name of the balloon was Mongolfiera like the name of their inventors

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a very popular inventor, he invented the ”theory of gravity”

He was born  in Germany, and he died was die on in USA with seventy-six years.

He was an exellent student when he was young.

He he had to leave his country by the war of the Nazis.

He is considered the XX century’s most important scientific XX. In 1915 he presented the theory of general relativity, which reformulated the whole concept of gravity.

In 1880 the family moved to Munich, where his father and uncle founded in October a company dedicated to installing water and gas. As business was good, with the support of the whole family decided to open his own workshop electrical: Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein & Cie.

 

Lois Pasteur

Louis Pasteur was born in Dôle,France on 27 of Dicember.

He was a French chemist.

His contributions in organic chemistry was the discovery of the dimorphism of tartaric acid, noting the microscope that the racemic acid had two types of glass, with mirror symmetry. It was thus the discoverer of right-handed and left-handed forms which diverted the plane of polarization of light with the same angle but in opposite directions.
Made extensive studies on the microbiology and definitely helped disprove the theory of spontaneous generation.

Some of his contemporaries, including the eminent German chemist Justus von Liebig, insisted that fermentation was a chemical process requiring no intervention from any body. With the help of a microscope, Pasteur discovered that actually involved two bodies-two varieties of yeast, which were key to the process. One produced alcohol and other lactic acid, which soured wine.

“Galileo Galilei”

Galileo Galilei achievements include improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations.

He discovered that the Earth rotated around the Sun.

He was from Italy.

He was born in Pisa on 15 th.February 1564.

He studied in an university of Pisa and in the university of Padua (Italy).

He lived in Pisa and in Florencia.

He was an astronomer, philosopher, mathematician and physicist Italian.

He did important studies and discoveries about the moon.

He won the Nobel Prize of physical.

He died on 8 th. January 1642.

Thomas Alva Edison

Thomas Alva Edison invented the bulb.

He was American.

He was born on 11th 0f February 1847 in Milan (USA).

He died on 18th of October 1931 in West Orange (USA).

When he was ten years old he had have his first chemical laboratory.

He lived in Milan and in Port Huron.

He invented more things but the most important invention was the bulb.

He invented the bulb on 18 79.

He won three  important prizes.

He won the gold medal of the USA Congress, the Albert Medal and the Franklin Award.

He was a very important inventor in the world.

Nicholas Joseph Cugnot

Nicholas Joseph Cugnot was born in France French on 25th. September 1725.

He lived always in France.

He studied as military engineer.

He invented the car.

In 1771 the car crashed to the wall.

This accident was the  end of the first car in the world.

But in 1772 the king Luis XV paid  600 francs at year for his work.

This work preserved in the “Conservatorie National des Arts et Métiers” (in Paris).

This machine doesn’t run.

He died in France French on 1804.

He died with 79 years old.
