Hello my school is Pau Casals. It’s a Primary School and it’s very big and very beautiful. We are in Sabadell a town near Barcelona. Pau Casals was a famous catalan musician.
In the school there are 19 classrooms, 3 playgrounds, gym, library, 2 ICT classrooms, dining room, science and art classrooms, and English classroom.
We begin the school at 9 o’clock . The morning classes finish at 1.30. The break is from 11 o’clock to 11.30. We love it. We’ve got school at the afternoon too, from 3.30 to 5 o’clock. When the school is finished we can do some extra-activities, for example, football, chess, drama, handball, ….
Somos dos grupos de 25 alumnos, 6ºA y 6ªB. En clase hay alumnos de otros paises: China, Perú, Ucraïna, República Dominicana, México, Bolívia, Portugal. Parlem català i también hablamos castellano. We are learning English as a third language. This is our six year learning English. Empezamos a aprender inglés en primero. The English classroom is very big and we love it.
Our subjects are Catalan, Spanish, English, Maths, Music, PE, Conocimiento del Medio, Tutoria, Educación para la Ciudadanía y talleres (dibujo artístico, dibujo lineal y audiovisuales)
Our favourite subject is PE.

Aquest curs participarem en el Youngcast Project, un projecte col·laboratiu entre escoles angleses i catalanes. Si voleu saber més de que es tracta podeu consultar el bloc del projecte del curs passat on trobareu tot el que es va fer.
La primera feina que hem de fer aquest curs és presentar-nos com escola i com a grup-classe en anglès i castellà. Per fer-ho em d’elaborar un vídeo amb imatges de l’escola i vostres i amb frases que expliquin com és l’escola, on està, què fem, quin és el nostre horari.
