Our stand doesn’t need somebody shows it, because it’s interactive and you can play with it.
The stand has got 5 parts:
- Situation + Flag:
The students in class learn the composition and situation of United Kingdom and the origin of its flag. About this, the students built a magnetic map ( Countries and capitals).
- Important Monuments:
In groups the students find information about 3 important places and then they exchange the information. About this, they built a jigsaw in half.
- Famous People:
In groups the students find information about 2 famous British people and then they exchange the information. About this, they built a “connector”, using an electrical circuit.
- Stereotypes :
In group-class, we talk about stereotypes with these drawings: a crown, a bubble (excuse me, sorry), an umbrella, a kettle, a football ball, a bowler, and clock. They prepare a photocall for the stand.
- Food :
In small groups, they match the pictures of food with the corresponding labels( Name+Ingredients).
