THE ADVENTURE BEGINS…

We arrived at the youth hostel Casa Gran at half past eleven. We were all very excited
After having breakfast we played some games with our teachers Hanna, Kiwi, Mina and Alexander.
In the afternoon we learned some songs and we did some activities in groups:
– in the centre of Altafulla: WHERE’S WALLY? We asked for a question to Hanna and then we asked this question to Kiwi and then we had to find the answer. The questions were: the name of “Mayor of Altafulla”, the ” population of Altafulla”…Or besides we built the shape of a car with our bodies, we showed the color of our underwear or we found 5 alive ants and …
– and in a park nearby: NATURE’N GO (or Pokemon’n go). In pairs, we looked for 20 cards (or Pokemons) about animals, plants or nature in the park. The list of the winners would have: peak , elk, skunk, twig, forest, leaf…
We spoke in English and we had a lot of fun … but it was very hot! When we went back to the youth hostel we had a shower and we had dinner: macaroni, chicken with mushrooms and yogurt or fruit. Mmmmmm, delicious!!!
In the evening; we played a game outside in the dark with torches: CODE. It was great!

- Thursday, 5th October 2.017
We got up at about eight o’clock and we had a big breakfast. There were cupcakes, biscuits, toasts, some cereal, milk, hot chocolate, juice, bread, butter, jam, cheese, fruit … Plenty of food!
After breakfast we played some BEACH GAMES on the sand (catching your partner around the circle, dancing the KONGA in rows to find our pair..). Our teachers let us put our feet in the water because it was very hot. HOORAY!!!
We had a shower before having lunch (a chickpeas salad, a burger, crisps, lots and lots of ketchup and a slice of melon).
In the afternoon we went to the Church Square to build up a TROPHIC CHAIN with some word cards and then we played some games pretending to be producers, primary and secondary consumers.Do you know what the HUMAN BEING is?
We had a snack in the youth hostel (bread and chocolate) and we did an ART WORKSHOP there : origami and bracelets.
Ah!!! We need the bracelets to go to the PARTY DISCO tonight.
Now we are going to have dinner and afterwards we are going to the party. You’ll see the photos tomorrow!

- Friday, 6th October 2.017
Today has been our last day in Altafulla. OH, WHAT A PITY!
And the last activity was called BET ON YOUR FRIENDS. By groups we had 500 points and we had to bet on our teams. We played different short tests and we didn’t know our test until the end, so we voted BLINDLY. It was very fantastic and excited.
After we went for a walk in the centre. The streets and the houses of the village are really beautiful. So we took some photos and we recorded our visit using our tablet.
Our last lunch was: rice with tomato, omelets of potato and slice of watermelon.
And … about PARTY DISCO?? We danced a lot . The girls did gymnastics rounds with the other school and the boys, the boys …they danced with their own style, but very good!!!
Finally we said goodbye to the teachers and our friends from Sort.

In the bus we sang ” HAPPY BIRTHDAY” to Clàudia. Last night when it was at twelve o’clock , they painted Clàudia’s face in their girls’ room . Clàudia was very happy!!!
