In the Poetry Workshop we answer the next questions:
1) What’s HAIKU?
It’s a kind of traditional Japanese poetry. It’s well known in the world, because it’s simple and very short, but it has got an emotional message.
2) How to make a HAIKU?
1st, choose a theme.
2nd, make a list of words:
– nouns ( Few)
– verbs ( Enough)
– adjectives ( Lots)
3rd, Scrapt, write a poem with 3 verses, using the words and in PAIRS.
4th, draw something about the poem.
Now you can read these fantastic HAIKUS.
But Year 5 & 6, WHAT’S THE BEST? Score between 1 and 5 ( Only 3 poems) and write in the comments!!!
