In Initial Cycle, the students learn words about his life with a photo.

In Medium Cycle, they learn small sentences with a photo:

• He is a writer, mathematician, anglican cleric, photographer and ARTIST.
• He is from Britain.
• He likes writing books for children: “Alice’s adventures in Wonderland”.

And in High Cycle, they match questions and answers about him orally. They watch a video and take notes about him.

They make a bag with lots of hearts ( Coloured hearts with /H/ and no coloured hearts without /H/). This bag tell us the poem.

In High Cycle, they know about the main character : ALICE.

• She lives in an upper-middle class family in Victorian England.
• She has got lot of curiosity, but this is dangerous.
• Her education is subjected to memorization and poetry.
• Children learn moral lessons, but Alice wants to explore the fantasy world.

They watch a trailer too. They work with words games like Lewis Carroll in the chapter “The mouse’s tale” ( “The mouse’s tail”). In small groups, they write about this words:

year vs ear      knight vs night      know vs now      piece vs peace   …

And at the end they make a calligram with the mouse’s tale vs the mouse’s tail.
