FIRST  TASK

At the beginning and in teams by 4, they read a piece of Dalí’s biography . There are 4 groups and each group has got different pieces, but the members of the group has the same. Then they draw this information, because after they tell others groups . Finally, they try to guess who is and they watch different videos about his life and paintings.

SECOND  TASK

They analyze the repeated elements in his paintings and his meanings.

Each group has to analyze  and write them in a worksheet. After they draw 3 elements that they want or like in a grid. The elements will be in black and white at the top and  in colour at the bottom.

THIRD  TASK

They work in 3D: they use printed images about wild animals, they cut it like a jigsaw, but they stick it in different way. They try to show with this the perspective. The background is filled in with  drawings or is painted.

FOURTH  TASK

They practise circles with a compass and make a scrap about a composition of circles. After they draw and colour the composition using the compass.

This work is an introduction to ” Tecnichal  Drawing” and moreover they use this tecnique to make a version about Dalí’s painting called “Galatea of Spheres”.

FIFTH  TASK

This task is called ” ME of Spheres”,because they try to make a version of ” Galatea of Spheres”.

They take photos about themselves with different emotions. Then they paint  with watercolours the background of the sheet and they draw and cut circles in the printed photo using a compass, after stick the circles on the painted sheet. Moreover they write the word about the emotion using the computer.

 SIXTH  TASK

Dalí has got lots of paintings about portraits and self portraits, so  they are FACES.

Then  they make MASKS with cardboards, foam, coloured papers,… Firstly they write different lists about; jobs, animals, food and film characters; they look for an inspiration and when they find it, they start to work.

At the end they do an oral presentation, where they have to explain their mask : Name, Introduction, Description, Representation, Feelings  and Opinion. The others have to write an assessment about the mask and the oral presentation. They have to fill in their own oral presentation rubric too.
