On February 27th, we went to the Barrades Auditorium to see a play named . It took an hour. In this play the actors interacted with spectadors, singing “ (The bones round round”) , dancing “ (Head, shoulders, knees and tous with David and Carlos) and representing a character like  Elisabeth ( Alexandra) or helping to star the Machine to give life to the monster ( Inés). At the end the sudents asked questions to the actors in English.

The summary:

Dr. Frankestein is a doctor in medicine. He Works at the laboratory with his assistant Fritz. He has got a secret. He has got a  secret book. He reads and follows the instructions to make a monster. Elisabeth is his girlfriend, but he doesn’t love her. She loves him. Elisabeth goes to the laboratory and sees the Monster. She shouts and runs away and the Monster is very sad. Dr. Frankestein has got and idea. The Monster will be  Dr. Frankestein. He wears like the doctor, and talks like a doctor. Dr. Frankestein rings to Elisabeth. He says   her that she goes to the laboratory. There, the  Monster is the doctor Fankestein and loves Elisabeth.  At the end they get married.

Students of 4th ESO from Bellvitge Secondary School visit to Ramon Muntaner school

Last Wednesday, 20th of February, 3 students from Secundary school and their English teacher came to our school to improve their oral skills in English ,was based  on a kahoot game  on famous people from the history such us Albert Einstein, Madame Curie, Pablo Picasso, Bethoven, Mercè Rodoreda among many others.

We had previosly studied their biographies and revised the past simple tense and the Questions Words ( Who, Why, What, Wich, When Where).

The oldest students  prepared a game. The youngest students worked in groups of 4 people to have to answer 15 questions about important people.

We took part with great interest and sense of enjoyment. All class participated and the winner team was composed by Joan, Samuel, Alejandro   with 15 rigth answers, but the other teams had good results too, from 10 to 15 correct answers.

On December 17th, we the 6th students did a play in English for the students of 1st. And 2nd.

This is the summary:

It’s Christmas Eve,  The family  is having dinner. A poor old man knocks at the door. He ‘s hungry. The dad invites him to eat. Mum gives pizza. The old man likes it very much. At the end, he goes out. At 2´oclock in the morning, Father Christmas comes down the chimney and he puts the presents under the Christmas tree. At Christmas Day the children runs to the living room. They see the presents and the note:      “Thank you for you delicious dinner.     Santa”

Who is the old poor man?
