Science – How the nose works!

The students of 4th year are working on the five senses. Last session was the turn of smell. There were some corners in the classroom related with smelling activities. There were the smelling station, where pupils had to guess the smells, the spice painting corner, where students painted using some spices as turmeric, cinnamon, vanilla… The nose parts corner, where pupils read some information about the parts of the nose and the nice and foul odors corner where students thought and drew things that have good and bad smells.

L’alumnat de 4t estan treballant els cinc sentits. L’última sessió va ser el torn de l’olfacte.

Hi havia alguns racons relacionats amb activitats olfactives. Hi havia el racó d’olorem, on els alumnes havien d’endevinar les olors, el racó de la pintura especiada, on van pintar fent servir cúrcuma, canyella, vainilla … El racó de les parts del nas, on llegien un text sobre això i per últim el racó de les bones i les males olors.
