What is CLILCOM?

CLILCOM (CLIL Competencies) is a multi-media tool for raising awareness of and supporting the development of teacher competencies in CLIL.
Free service
CLILCOM is a free service produced through the EU’s Leonardo da Vinci programme. Designed through collaboration with some of the most experienced European professional development and research centres for CLIL, CLILCOM is based on state-of-the-art understanding of this innovative educational approach.
Users
CLILCOM targets teachers and other professionals in secondary (vocational) and professional education. It is also applicable to those working at secondary (academic) and higher education levels. CLILCOM is confidential to the user. CLILCOM can be used by all teachers- from those who already have extensive experience in CLIL to those who have never been exposed to CLIL and would like to find out more.

It’s good to know that Spain is working hard in terms of CLIL methodology. Indeed, a group of teachers in the Asturian CLIL teachers’ network have published a book of resources and teachers’ notes for CLIL.
