2La fundació “Apadrina un arbol” ens va proposar participar al projecte de recuperació mediambiental dels boscos.
Vam acceptar la seva proposta i han plantat un arbre a los Pinares del Ducado de Medinaceli a Guadalajara que porta el nom del bloc d’anglès a l’Escola Splai. Amb aquesta iniciativa, compensarem l’emissió de CO2 del nostre blog i les seves visites al llarg dels propers 5 anys.
Ells s’encarregaran de cuidar-lo i vetllar pel seu creixement de forma totalment gratuïta.
Aquí teniu el diploma acreditatiu.
Acte de lliurament “The Fonix 2012” (5th & 6th grade)

Ahir, divendres 25 de maig, vam poder assistir a l’entrega de premis pels finalistes del concurs “The Fonix 2012”. El nostre alumne de sisè de primària, Nicolás Delgado Díaz, va recollir el seu diploma acreditatiu i un lot de material escolar per la seva condició de finalista.
L’acte, organitzat per la Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai, Cambridge University Press i el portal Netlanguages, va comptar amb l’assistència de diversos representants de l’ensenyament de les llengües estrangeres a Catalunya.
El presentador de la gala, Julià Ferrer, va aconseguir que sigués molt amena i entretenida amb els seus comentaris sarcàstics.
El grup Green Duo, va interpretar en versió acústica, alguns dels clàssics de la llengua anglesa: Stand by Me, Sitting on the dock of the bay o In the Jungle, cançò interpretada al passat Concert de primavera 2011 pels alumnes de Cicle Superior de l’Escola Splai.
L’acte va comptar amb l’assistència de la consellera Irene Rigau, que va animar als mestres i alumnes assistents a continuar buscant motivacions per millorar el seu nivell de llengua anglesa.
