Avui, dissabte 23 de Febrer hem tingut la oportunitat d’explicar el nostre projecte d’expressió oral i el Bloc d’anglès a l’APAC ELT Convention 2013 celebrada a la Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona.
La conferència “Speak, Record and share your English in the Blog!” ha estat un éxit, segons m’han comentat alguns dels més de 50 mestres assistents al final de la sessió. Aquí en teniu l’abstract de la conferència:
It is always difficult to get students concerned about how important speaking is because they don’t use English in their “real” lives. I think the key aspect is to surprise them every moment of every class and to set activities of situational English in class. This methodology workshop will provide a wide range of speaking activities (chants, role playing, card games, board games, dialogues, oral presentations…) used in the different Primary cycles at Escola Splai to encourage students to improve their spoken English. These oral productions can’t be displayed in the wall of a class or in the corridor. So, I will explain all process: before, during and after uploading pupils’ recordings in an English Blog and how to use them to practise English at home with their families and getting the most profit of them. Finally, I will explain how I deal with the assessment of speaking activities and we will have a look at the feedback of the families and what they think about the project.
