I’m going to write about Margarida Xirgu.
She was born in Barcelona.
She was an actress.
In 1921 she visited Cuba and Mexico.
In 1935 starred a theatre play called ” Bodas de sangre”.
Then, his husband Josep Arnall died in La Habana.
In 1941 she got married again.
In 1952 she directed “Tartufo”.
She died in Montevideo in 1969.

I’m going to write about Lluís Homar.
He was born in Barcelona in 1957.
He is an actor.
He studied law at the University of Barcelona.
In 1975 joined to the Escorpio theatre club. He took part in two shows: “Terra Baixa” directed by Josep Montanyes and “Quiriquibu” directed by Fabià Puigserver and Guillem Graells.
He was the artistic director of Theatre Lliure, between 1992 and 1998.
His latest films has been “Los abrazos rotos” in 2009.

He was journalist and writer.
In 1909 he studied at Maristes School .
In 1913 he studied medicine.
He changed his mind and studied Law.
In 1919 he graduated in Law and began working as journalist.
In 1925 he published his first book, “Coses Vistes”.
In 1939, he worked in La Vanguardia.
He died in Girona in 1981

He was a politician.
In 1960, he was in prision.
He was President of Catalonia since 1980.
The 16th of December of 2003 he left the presidence of Catalonia.
He was president for 23 years.
He is still alive.

I´m going to write about Joan Miro.
He was born in Barcelona in 1893
He was a painter, sculptor and ceramist.
In 1964, Miró created some sclulptures for the garden of the Maeght Foundation.
In 1979, he received a doctorate honoris causa from the University of Barcelona.
His most famous scuplture was “Dona i ocell” in 1982
He died in Mallorca in 1983.

I’m going to write about Joan Manuel Serrat.
He was born in Poble-sec, Barcelona in 1943.
He is a singer.
In 1965 he started singing in Barcelona Radio.
In 1966 recorded “Ara que tinc vint anys”.
In 1967 did his first live performance. He sang “La tieta” and “Canço de bresol”.
In 1968 he published his first songs in Spanish.
In 1969 he edited his single “Com ho fa el vent”
In 1970 he sang a song called “Mi niñez”
In 1971 he released “Mediterráneo”, his most famous song
In 1973 he published “Per al meu amic” in Catalan.
