Davant la sequera que ens afecta, és bo comparar que han fet d’ altres països en situacions similars. El 2006 li va tocar al Regne Unit. Diverses companyies d’ aigua van establir l’ anomenat ‘hosepipe ban’ o ‘prohibició de fer servir la mànega’, i que prohibia l’ us d’ aigua potable per regar jardins o netejar cotxes.
Un resum senzill i curt es pot trobar seguint aquest enllaç.

Per cert, la situació al Regne Unit el 2006 va ser la conseqüència de dos hiverns seguits molt secs. Els embassaments estaven al 50%. Per conèixer les reserves d’ aigua catalanes feu click aquí (no us espanteu!).
