This year we will have a very special St George’s Day as we will all be enjoying Easter holiday.
However it has been decided to cellebrate an alternative festival focussed on Science and Literature. It will be next Friday, 15th April.
As usual, from the foreign language department we invite you to take part in the activities and, if you wish, in our Art and Writing Contest.
For those students who have decided to read or recite a text during the day I have some webs to suggest to you. There, you will find some authors and texts that might be useful.

If you need some ideas think of authors, books or films that you like or you’ve heard of: Frankenstein (Marry Shelley), Tom Sawyer (Mark Twain), Peter Pan (J.M. Barrie), Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carrol), Charles Dickens (Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist…), George Orwell (Animal Farm), Shakespeare (sonnets, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet…), Chaucer (The Canterbury TAles), Asimov (I, robot)… It has to be a short text and find its translation too, so you can read it in both languages.
THE WINNERS THIS YEAR ARE: LAURA ORTIZ (1r B) AND ELISA TORRES (1r BATX B). THANKS TO ALL THE STUDENTS THAT HAVE TAKEN PART IN THE CONTEST. YOU CAN SEE YOUR PROJECTS ON THE ENGLISH SEMINAR WINDOW. GOOD WORK, EVERYONE!
