Good news for IES Cubelles

Dues alumnes d' intercanvi

The ‘Secretari per la innovació europea’, Ramon Capilers, has announced that IES Cubelles is going to take part in an exchange programme with Finland. According to Mr. Capilers, there are some teachers in this high school that are very interested in Finland’s school system and would like to imitate them.

The programme will begin shortly after Christmas holidays. There will be four Finish students, one in 1st ESO A, two in 3rd of ESO C and 1 in 2nd Batxillerat B. Mr. Whitefield asked about language problems, but Mr. Capilers said that the students who will be travelling to Catalonia are descendents from the times when the Catalan empire extended well over Scandinavia, and therefore will have no problems with the language.

The Queen and ‘youtube’

The Queen’s address to the citizens of the United Kingdom has traditionally been broadcast through radio and television. However, this year the Queen has become more modern and has started her own ‘youtube‘ channel, which includes videos from the most important moments of this institution.
