Today we begin a series of sessions based on some of the most famous classic American superheroes. We are going to see Superman, Batman, Spiderman and some others.

Els objectius de la primera avaluació, apart del vocabulari i les activitats relacionades amb la parla i l’ escriptura, eren dominar quatre estrucutres relacionades amb el passat:
Aquests objectius s’ han assolit de manera relativament satisfactòria, ja que el 83% dels alumnes de 4t d’ ESO han aconseguit aprovar. Diem relativament satisfactòria per què: a) no s’ han pogut fer les tres redaccions projectades, sinó només una -i en 4t B, dues-; i b) l’ objectiu global era que ningú suspengués l’ anglès, cosa que xoca amb aquest 17% de suspesos.
Pel que fa a les redaccions, la segona avaluació serà més estricta en aquest tema i s’ intentarà el ritme sigui una unitat, una redacció. No obstant, s’ haurà de tenir en compte no sobrecarregar de treball els alumnes i obtenir resultats imprevistos.
Pel que fa al tema més preocupant, el suspensos, cal dir:
Les conclusions de la 1a avaluació són una peça clau per entendre com treballen els alumnes de 4t d’ ESO. Per aquest motiu, qualsevol comentari serà benvingut.

For those of you who cannot wait, here are the results of your class. I think that they are very good and, with only two or three exceptions, everybody got the result that corresponded to their level in the final exam.

The objective was that no-one would fail English, but here there are 12 who have. Let’s see how many people fail in the other three courses and we’ll be able to draw a conclusion from that.
The results of the difficult exams are, surprisingly, the lowest of all three levels. The average was 4.6 (easy = 5; medium = 6.9). This should make some people think, including me, of course, but also you, the people who took the exam.
