Today we begin a series of sessions based on some of the most famous classic American superheroes. We are going to see Superman, Batman, Spiderman and some others.
The first session is dedicated to Superman:
- History of Superman. Wikipedia.

Teachers strike
Today I’ve come to work despite the teachers strike. I don’t quite like the new Catalan Education Law, but I don’t like how the education system is now either. We couldn’t do normal classes today, but we have practised the following:
- Comics in English: we have used toondoo to create some comic strips.
- 4th ESO: we have continued with normal classes.
1st cartoon with ToonDoo
Hello students, this is the first cartoon that I have created with Toondoo. Next week, we’ll be working with our computers and seeing how they can help us create a short comic strip in less than 10 minutes.
Session 18
Today we plan a 6 panel comic strip. The story is this “Claudia ies a 13 year old student. She is studying for a history exam and slowly falls asleep”.
Will our students produce an interesting comic plan???
Exam next Tuesday
Next day we’ve got our first exam. The content of the exam is:
· Cartoon language (definition of panel, speech bubble, etc.)
· Cartoon jobs (writer, colourist, letterer, etc.)
