Wednesday 22nd, student strikes?

Today there was an oral exam for three groups of 4th ESO grade: 4 A, 4 C and 4 D. Some students asked me yesterday about postponing this test as they were going on strike. Unfortunately for them, the school has not accepted this strike and classes will go on as normal. This means that all the students who are not here and have not justified their absence will have a ‘0’ in this test. As stated in the school’s regulations, tests will be postponed only when the strike has been officially announced by the school, something which does not apply here.

XTEC: what do students have to do to go on strike? (Catalan text)

Objective: Practise your dialogues!

We’re doing speaking and listening activities this week. If you really want to prepare your dialogue (activity 1 speaking, p. 25), I strongly suggest you visit your No Problem website, click on Unit 2 and try the listening exercise. There are two versions, one is the complete text and the other is onlyMike’s (you have to play Sanjay’s part).

And next day… stand up and speak!!
