The picture is from a plant called ‘agave’. Immature leaves are in the centre of the plant, very much pressed together, and when they open you can see the curious patterns made by the thorns:

So … there were only two contestants this week, and they answered exactly the same so… let me think who the winner is (or if there actually is a winner).
