What if…?

Hello everyone!

As you know, unit 3 is dedicated to conditional sentences. This is my proposal: why don’t you post your suggestions on the following provocative topics:

  1. Catalonia will be an independent country if…
  2. IES Cubelles would be a much better high school if…
  3. Madrid would have got the Olympic games if…

I will give you some suggestions to get things started:

  1. … if campaigns against Catalans continue.
  2. … if parents were really interested in their children’s education.
  3. … if London had not participated.

Provocative?

Well, write and show me your “conditional” alternatives.

“it had been participated” is a passive construction. That’s fine, the only problem is you can’t turn into passive a verb that cannot take a direct object. So, I’m afraid your sentence is not quite right. Why don’t you try to make it better? I’ll be waiting for it.
