The answers are:
soup, steak, mash, pancakes, cookies, pie, spaguetti, ice-cream, gravy, tea, frankfurters, zucchini.
Mash means mashed potatoes (puré de patates)
Gravy is a sauce for meat of vegetables.
Zucchini is American English for courgettes in British English (carbassons)
