SESSIÓ 1: 8 Intelligences plus 5 Senses….it all adds up
FORMADORA: Geraldine Laboria
In 1983 Howard Gardner published his theories on Multiple Intelligences and a few years later
Bandler and Grinder cofounders of NLP, produced the evidence that we all learnthrough our 5 senses. Since then most teachers, educationalists and text book writers have accepted that
both Multiple Intelligences and Multi-Sensory Learning areof major importance.
Today’s sessions will deal with each of these theories, looking at the scientific reasoning and evidence behind them. This will be followed by a lot of practical ideas, tips and activities so that teachers can integrate them into their class routines. Working with these two themes will
automatically include other topics such as the need for music and stories, plus ways to teach self-esteem and Emotional and Social Intelligence.
