“ALL ABOUT PLANTS”

6th level students learn some amazing facts  about plants, because PLANTS are very important.

We need them for food, wood, medicines, and many other things.

We see plants all around us, in fields, parks, gardens, and even in our homes.

We enjoy reading  a book about it called “All about plants”, of Oxford Read and Discover collection, OUP.

Fith year students go to an English camp

School La Font starts its PILE !!

In our school, we are concerned about the Competències Bàsiques results that our students get at the end of the Primary Education. That’s why, we decided to do this project, in order to improve their English communicative skills.

We think that, learning Natural Science in English offers to our children a motivating opportunity to use it more often and in a real context. Specially, taking into account, that our students, who are form different countries, have no contact with English out of school.

Nowadays, the fifth and sixth children are studying Natural Science one hour a week in English, thanks to the CLIL/AICLE methodology.
