OUR FIRST

IMPRESSIONS

Hi everybody!!
Today is our second day here in London and since we arrived yesterday in the morning, we’ve lived a lot of new experiences.
After having woken up at 5AM, having caught the flight to London and having felt so nervous, we finally landed. Everything started there. We met our new families and we can say that there are a lot of different kinds of families, we will explain you during these days.
We were fascinated when we saw that everything was so different from our country.
 
“Underground 4 pounds? We better take the bus”
“Is necessary that everything is covered by carpet?”
“Anna, we are having dinner and it is not dark yet”
“Mire, it is 9 PM and we are going to sleep”
 
What is happening? Ladies and gentleman, we are in London!!!!

On Sunday some students of IES viladecavalls went on a trip. Everybody knows that the trip is in London.
When we arrived at Heathrow Airport , some of us that we hadn’t ever visited London  felt strange, because  there are different rules in this society than in Spain.
Firstly, car drivers drive on the right , people are more polite and quiet , places are  cleaner than Spain , among others.

At 1 p.m we were met the host families  in a point and after they took us to their houses.

It was a very exciting day , because we were surrounded by a bit of Britain culture. The day was very long, we were exhausted so at 9 o’clock we were all in bed!
