Creative Commons / Pixabay

I. Write the script for the video. Your video must have the following parts:

     DESCRIPTION OF YOUR HIGH SCHOOL

  •  Explain what you can do into the building, in class…
  •  Explain what you will be able to do in different grades (trip to London in ESO 3…)

    SCHOOL RULES

  • Explain the rules your school has got: what you are allowed to do or not to do, what you must do or mustn’t do…

    RECOMMENDATIONS

  •  What do you recommend to students in ESO1? What should they do to have a good stay at our high school?

II. Think about how you can explain the rules for students in ESO 1 and rehearse.

Make yourself understandable:

  •  Use the materials you need.
  •  Use gestures.
  •  Speak clearly, slowly and loud.

III. Use your smartphone to record the video and send it to your teacher through Google Drive.

IV. Edit the video following these steps:

a) Go to Google Drive and give a name to each of the videos:

b) Go to Adobe Spark and SIGN IN with your Gmail account.

c) Click on the + button and choose VIDEO. Choose a template.

d) Start editing your video following the structure you have used to write the script. Here you are an example.

Unexpected events with Benjamin Button (Conditionals)

“Sometimes we’re on a collision course, and we just don’t know it. Whether it’s by accident or by design, there’s not a thing we can do about it.”

– The Curious Case of Benjamin Button –

1. In this clip, Benjamin explains a series of unexpected events. Watch the clip and answer the following questions:

What would have happened if:

  • the delivery truck hadn’t moved?
  • the package hadn’t been wrapped?
  • the girl hadn’t broken up with her boyfriend?
  • the man hadn’t forgot to set the alarm?
  • the taxi driver hadn’t stopped for a cup of coffee?
  • the woman hadn’t remembered her coat?

2. Watch the video again and note down the chronological events.

3. In pairs, reconstruct the story and retell it in pairs.
