Letter exchange 2nd grade

Dear families,

Our 2nd grade students have taken part in a letter exchange programme throughout the school year. They have written letters to 2nd grade students from Marius Torres School, talking about themselves, what they like and dislike and giving personal information.

It’s been a great experience and a good way to use the English language in a real context.

Let’s go to the Theatre!

Going to the theatre is a good choice for a different excursion with children as it generates conversations with children and strengthens ties. So, one an excellent idea it could be go to the theater to watch Dracula after working on it in class. The theatre helps children and adults to imagine and dream. It is a path full of emotions. Going to the theater is always a good plan!

Hello June!

The end of the school year is going to be here before I know it!  This last month of school are always full of craziness!  So… what better way to survive that craziness than to play some different games!

So my search is beginning!

Poems with book titles!

Good afternoon!

Have you heard of “book spine poetry?” It’s a kind of poetry that you don’t really write. You “find” it by arranging book titles to make a poem.

This type of poem can be serious or funny, just like in regular poetry. We document them by taking pictures:
