Next year we plan to go on and implement the activities that worked best and produced greater results in achievement and learning. For example: Class presentations, film and readers, recording dialogues and class speakings, opinions and writings and of course, the good old personal blog…

Students moan and groan yet they improve. And that’s the essential part for us.

It was a big challenge for me, really, teaching colleagues, I mean. No matter how much I prepared I still felt something missing before actually starting to work with other teachers… until the D-day came.

On the hot spot, nerves just vanished and enthusiasm, energy and the tasks to be accomplished took over… Luckily, it was marvellous, I must say. My mentor Dr Olga Esteve compares it to giving birth… painful but rewarding. Well, it comes near that.

Now, after some sessions working and sharing experiences with teachers I must say it is highly rewarding and incredibly enlightening… I learn some much from them about our job!!! I hope this works two ways, naturally… they seem to come reasonably happy to the sessions and leave eager to try new things out mostly… It is my dream job if I ever had any… This motivates me to innovate in class with my students, for my students and for my colleagues but the bottom line is that all this work finally pays off basically for me, both professionally and personally.
