This is our project for 3rd ESO students dealing with ecology and our planet’s preservation. There are plenty of activities for them to do and they’ll learn quite a lot (hopefully). Have fun,
It is certainly a good thing to know about other people’s interests and traditions. In the following slideshow there are some images having to do with a traditional Indian dance. You have to imagine the drumbeat, the sounds, the color, movement and emotion to get an idea of what it is like to be in a festival like this one.
In this post you’l watch two videos dealing with the different literarry movements in the States. Watch them once and try to state as many movements as possible; then watch them again and see if you can add more. Can you name any of the characteriscs of the movements? do you think we had the same literary tradition in Catalonia?
In this activity kids will listen to the song Sk8er Boy by Avril Lavigne, they will see the album and try and guess why I chose the images that I did.
After having seen the album and listened to the song they will have to do a gap-filling exercise with the words hidden behind the images.
Once that is done, they have to create an activity like this one with the song that they choose and we’ll do the activity together.
Last year, I was doing some work with authorstream, where you can upload any .ppt presentation. The one that I did dealt with the use of The Present Tense in English. Since the main philosophy behind web 2.0 is that of sharing, I’m gonna share that with you.
