Els alumnes de 4rt hem fet un experiment a la classe de Science! I hem comprovat que realment l’aire pessa menys quan s’escalfa.
The wind
The wind occurs when the air moves. When the air heats up, it weighs less and moves upwards. The space it occupied is then filled with cold air.
The experiment
We have used a stick to make a balance, with an empty water bottle in one of the end of the stick and plasticine in the other end.
We have light a candle under the empty bottle.
What has happened?
The air of the bottle heats up because of the candle, then this air weighs less. The balance lends to the side of the plasticine.
