Practising English at the restaurant

Hi everybody,

Last Wednesday we had a wonderful time at the restaurant. It was a great opportunity to speak English outside the classroom and meet students from the other class. We had some warming-up activities before dinner and spent the evening speaking English.

The teacher brought her camera but the batteries went dead, ha,ha,ha (she should check next time, don’t you think?) . Fortunately, Laura had also brought her camera and took these photos. Thank you Laura.

It was very rewarding to hear you speak Engish. Thank you very much. It was a lovely evening.

¡I’ve decided to write my first comment in the blog! But it will not be the last (no, no)

Well, speaking about our dinner; I enjoyed it so much. I’ve known a lot of people, I’ve learnt a lot of expressions about meals, I’ve had a lot of fun, and, the most important, I’ve spoken English for many hours! (When I saw my clock and it was nearly 11,00pm I thought ¡Wow it has spent 3 hours, and It really seems 10 minutes!)

In conclusion, I’m waiting for another dinner. I strongly recommend to the people who didn’t come with us going to the next meal!
    Good bye

Last Wednesday I went to “practise English at the Restaurant”. I liked a lot the experience because I think it is a new method to improve someone’s English. I like all the activities, especially when I tried to guess the name that Ana put in our forehead, it was a big fun!!!
I would like to repeat this experience and I recommend other people to attend to the next dinner.

    Best Regards

    Hello colleagues!
How are you? I hope you are fine.
This week I´m very busy because I have a lot of work. But I´ve found time to write a comment in the blog!
I´m agree with Sandra and Tania about their views of dinner last Wednesday. We spent a entertaining time and we learnt new vocabulary.
I think it´s a very good way to speak and improve our English too.
By the way, anybody watched OT programme last night? It was very amusing! 😉
    See you later in classroom!
    Kisses for everybody!
