Lluís Llach i Grande (Girona, 7 de maig de 1948) és un músic i cantautor català que va pertànyer al grup dels Setze Jutges i que es pot considerar com un dels capdavanters de la Nova Cançó. Com a artista engatjat, ha estat un referent, no solament musical, sinó també intel·lectual de tres generacions.

La seva cançó més popular i més compromesa ha estat L’Estaca composta l’any 1968, i l’adaptació de la qual Mury, va adaptar com a himne el sindicat polonès Solidarno??, així com el 1997 també es va convertir en l’himne oficial del club de rugbiUnió Esportiva Arlequins de Perpinyà. Per les diferents prohibicions que li van fer per poder interpretar les seves cançons durant la dictadura franquista, va haver d’exiliar-se durant un temps a París. Al setembre de 1979 va esdevenir el primer cantant no operístic que va actuar al Gran Teatre del Liceu per presentar Somniem.
