Students in grade 5 learned about animals and their body parts.  In groups, they chose an endangered animal, searched information and wrote about it. Finally, they presented their animal.  Good work!

In 6th grade we learnt about geographical wonders. In groups we wrote a small text about the place we wanted. Afterwards, we practiced to explain it in front of the class.
 

In grade 5 we had a day full of surprises. First of all, we had an unexpected online meeting with our finnish pen pals. We introduced ourselves in front of the camera and afterwards we played a Kahoot game all together with questions about Christmas in Finland and Catalonia or Spain. Also, we received their letters by snail mail and we had time to read them. Many things happened in just one day!

Halloween was originated and celebrated in Celtic countries like Ireland and UK. Immigrants took many Halloween traditions to north America (United States and Canada). Now, it’s very popular and it is celebrated in many countries.

In Art class we have made scary spiders, bats and pumpkins!

Last Friday we celebrated the IX English Day in the Pla d’Urgell. We met with other schools and played games such as Guess the Sentence. We also competed in karaoke and made a magnet with plasticine,  a typical bus from London, a double-decker bus.

In 6th grade we described dinosaurs. First each group wrote about a dinosaur in Google Slides and afterwards we explained it in front of the class.

In  5th grade we learned about awesome animals. As this year we have a project about dinosaurs in our school, we described them and we explained our work in front of the class.

In 5th grade we recorded a video for our pen pals in France. We explained things like the subjects that we have, the objects and tasks in our class, the teachers in our school, our playground…

This year we received letters from foreign countries! In 6th grade we got letters from Finland and in 5th grade from France.

It was exciting getting letters by snail mail and also getting letters written by hand! Some of them were very colourful and nice so we rushed to write ours!
