Hi Level 1 teachers! 

As we told you in the last meeting of January 25 in Departament d’Ensenyament, you are supposed to follow a good pace with your students, i.e. not spending too much time on every unit and focusing on important points of the curricula and all the skills involved. 

So far (mid-February), most of Level 1 teachers have devoted 2-3 sessions to the midterm exams (or mock exams) or are about to do so; and you have taught lessons 1 to 5 and then some of you, unit 6 or 11 or 7+8.

We think you should all cover:
 Past simple
 Can/could (+/-2 sessions)
 Countable/Uncountable nouns + have got (+/- 4 sessions)
 Present cont vs present simple + revision questions forms (+/- 5 =
sessions)
 Comparative/Superlative + Adverbs (+/- 3 sessions)
 Going to (+/- 2 sessions)

Maybe you shouldn’t go really extensively into the topics and give the students a rough approach to them so as to be able to cover the whole syllabus.
