James Calmers born in 1782 and died in 1853. He moved to Dundee(England) in 1809 because his brother recomended. He was the inventor of the adhesive postage stamp. He was a newapaper publisher. He was Scottish man. In Dundee, he was a bookseller and printer. From 1834, James Chalmers was promoting the idea of an adhesive stamp. The first astamp was created in 1840. He Was burried in Howff, a cementery in the center of Dundee.

Això és una altre cosa que m’agrada molt fer: són peces de fusta una mica fines que tens que treure segons les instruccions que et donen en un full, cada peça té uns números en concret (al voltant de 190 números en total). Es dura mes o menys 1 o 2 hores. Quan acabes de enganxar totes les peces amb els seus numerals, aconseguiràs fer una figura o un animal de fusta que surt a la portada, quan acabes pots pintar-lo però això es cosa de cadascú: per exemple, jo no ho pinto perquè m’agrada mes de color marró.

M’agrada molt fer papiroflèxia quan tinc estones lliures a casa meva, especialment coses de Jo Nakashima (nascut el 20 de juliol de 1983) i de Tadashi Mori (nascut el 25 d’agost de 1985). Els dos són artistes que pengen vídeos a youtube sobre origami explicant cada pas per a poder fer figures de papiroflèxia.
