Komodo dragon

The Komodo dragon lives in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Padar.
It is the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 meters and a weight between 70 and 90 kg. It is brown and it has a tail as long as its body. It also has a long, yellow, deeply forked tongue and its saliva contains a lot of bacteria that it uses to hunt other animals.
Komodo dragons are carnivores and they eat mostly carrion.
