One of the most famous painters here in Catalonia is JOAN MIRÓ.
Students on year 5 worked on the SURREALISM and learned who Joan Miró was.
We tryed to be him using his technique and cvopying some of his pictures.
Do you know what is POP ART or who is ANDY WARHOL?
Students on year 6 can tell you. During this term we worked and learnt a lot of things about pop art and the most famous artist of this art movement: Andy Warhol.
The students used his style and coloured their portraits imitating pop art.
During this term students on year 4 put into practice the different techniques that they learnt on the first term to colour a picture.
We draw an abstract picture and we fill it in using straight lines, dots and colours.
They look very nice and we had great fun doing it!!!!!!!
The last15 days all the students prepared this jolly season: Christmas
They decorated the school with lots of Christmas pictures and decorations.
They learned some Christmas carols and sing them too.

Students on year 6 wrote Autumn poems. We read some poems in class and talk about the verbs, vocabulary and different expressions related to this Season.
We celebrated the English festivity of HALLOWEEN on the 31st. Of October.
The 3rd. Cycle students prepared and activity for the rest of the Primary students. They decorated their corridor as a haunted corridor with monsters, skeletons….. Year 6 students made in the English class some jack’o’lanterns.
After the playground we played the Trick or Treat.
Students on first and second cycle went to the corridor and played the game. They had to put the hand in a haunted box, take a card and guess which object it was.
As a present, third cycle students gave them a witch finger and a witch eye. They made them with their class teachers.
We enjoy it a lot!!!!!!
I teach this song on year 1. They like it and enjoy singing it.
