This week we are working on the sea animals. This video helps  to learn new vocabulary and names of sea animals like: seal, dolphin, turtle, whale, clown fish, octopus, crab,  jellyfish and many more. Do you know how many arms an octopus has?

In 6th we have been talking about different types of schools… Millions of children go to school every day. Some schools have classrooms with desks and chairs but others are quite different. Here you have an example: Train Platforms Schools in India.

In 5th we have learned it is a flower festival in Colombia. Farmers carry flower arrangements known as “silletas” during the traditional silleteros parade held as part of the Flower Festival in Medellin, Colombia.

Several times we have been talking about Easter Island. Learn about Easter Island, its discovery, and the history of people who lived there along with the giant carved heads, the moai.

In 5th we have been talking about mountain gorillas. Gorillas are some of our closest relatives. Hear Lauren tell us more about these great fur-coated apes.

This week we have celebrated  “Family Day” with other Escolàpies schools, Figueres, El Masnou and Sabadell. We have done different activities, board games, storytelling, family pictures… We have enjoyed a lot.

6th students have told this colourful and amazing book to 1st and 2nd Primary students. It’s called Family book, by Todd Parr. They have had a great time together!!

Nowadays, technology is part of our daily life. We have been working on the value: use technology wisely.
