OUR EASTER PRODUCTS

We elaborated many crafts during this last week of the second term.

P3 to P4 did a nice postcard with a chick (done with paint and their fingers) and some message at the back giving a happy Easter to their parents and with their names. They enjoyed it very much!

This is the nice model we had as a reference, but we painted only one chick!

P5 made a carton rabbit, following a fantastic model we found, a marvelous craft we modified and adapted a little bit. Kids loved it!!! We linked the craft with the new topic of this third term: FARM ANIMALS!

CI decorated the Easter Tree we built. They did it with many crafts, pictures, Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, baskets and even an Easter minibook. You’ll see a photo very soon……meanwhile, look at the model that inspired us!

CM decided to decorate their class with many pictures from Easter: bunnies, baskets with eggs, eggs, etc.

OUR CRAFTS : FATHER’S DAY SESSION

These are the final products, both from CI’s class and from CM’s class.

CI did a kind of minibook with the letters D – A – D and their fathers liked it very much!!!

CM did an origami craft: a Heart Necktie for their fathers. The craft was quite elaborate and required concentration but they did it!!!! I knew you could, no doubt!!!

EASTER IS HERE BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!

In a week we’ll be enjoying the Easter Holidays all of us!!! You’ve done a great job this term and sure you’ll do better the last term of the course!!!

So, I wanted to say : Happy Easter!  to all of you in advance!

MARCH THE 19TH, IT’S FATHER’S DAY!!!

It seems to me that we don’t celebrate Father’s Day as much as we celebrate Mother’s Day! So, this year I’ve decided to do some activities with students related to this festivity which is almost here, in a week!

In March 21st we go to Móra d’Ebre to the theatre! We are going to enjoy with pirates and ships and TREASURE ISLAND play!

CARNIVAL, WHAT CARNIVAL?

The thing is that I wanted to write a traditional article on Carnival festivals and so on, but the truth is that this year we are not doing anything special for Carnival! What a pity! It’s not our choice, it’s the Government’s choice! No money, no extras! So, if we, schools, are not given money, we can not buy material and all the stuff necessary for making Carnival possible or other festivals, activities and so on!

So, that’s our situation people!

Have a happy Carnival (if you are fortunate….)!

FROZEN THERMOMETERS!!!

Yes! Almost everything outside is frozen!!! Brrrrr! Put on your jackets, gloves, hats, scarfs, boots, ….everything to keep you hot and comfortable! Take profit of this weather and stay at home, read, surf on the Internet, play computer games, play board games with your parents……home, sweet home!!!
