Unit 1: Light and Heat

Light moves in a straight line. Light moves very fast. We need light to see objects.

Objects can be transparent, translucent or opaque.

The white light: Is the light from the sun. Is a mixture of 7 colours: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. A prism separates light into different colours.

Science Experiments

In class we are learning about light.The other day we’ve done an experiment to learn about “Newton’s colour disk“. And we’ve been using some prisms to see how white light is a mixture of seven colours.
