During this week the students of the first cycle, second and third cycle of Primary have been to La Peni. We have attended the plays: Georgina and the Dragon (first and second levels), Aladdin (third and fourth levels) and Treasure Island (in fifth and sixth levels).
Students have enjoyed a lot seeing these plays. They have become pirates, vikings and burglars for a while.
We have had a great time!.
April 23 is also known as William Shakespeare’s birthday, and 2016 will be the 400th anniversary of his death.
He was an English poet, playwright, and actor, and many people say he was the greatest writer in the English language.

Words to Guy Fawkes Rhyme
On 5 November every year, children in Britain get excited because it is Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes’ Night). They lit bonfires and enjoy fireworks displays. On top of the fire is a guy (a homemade dummy, like a scarecrow). They also eat sausages and jacked potatoes.
They do these things because they remember the attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament and the king James I. It was the Gunpowder Plot.
